Audre Lorde’s last reading took place in September 1992, two months before her death, in the apartment of Dagmar Schultz and Ika Hügel-Marshall. A few friends and colleagues from Orlanda publishing house were present. Audre dedicated the reading to the women in Soweto, South Africa with whom she was closely connected.
